Introduction

Love is the greatest revelation of all because God is love.

His commandment is that we learn to love and become like Jesus.

As we go through these teachings on the facets of love, we're discovering aspects we may not have considered before.

Today's message focuses on how love endures all things.

God's love endures all things, and His love in us enables us to endure as well.

Enduring Through Trials and Tribulations

Many believers around the world are going through tremendous trials and tribulations.

The enemy is trying to wear us down, discourage us, and bring us down completely.

But the Lord gives us endurance to get through whatever we're facing right now.

You may be asking yourself, "How long can this carry on?" or "When will I receive my breakthrough?"

Many are battling just to carry on because of weariness setting in.

The devil designs these trials and attacks to wear you out.

Some may even be tempted to give up on the Lord, the church, or their destinies.

But God's word to you today is that His love in you endures all things.

If you tap into God's love deposited in you by the Holy Spirit, that love will endure all things.

You will be able to endure everything the enemy throws at you.

Love Hopes All Things and Endures All Things

God's love hopes all things and endures all things.

Love can and will endure any and every test you may enter.

No matter what test you're going through, love hopes all things and will endure it.

People may be falling away on the left and right, but you must ignore the enemy's lies and finish your race.

You need the mindset of a warrior to endure these severe tests.

Love hopes all things, enabling us to persevere even when we don't know how long the trial will last.

The Mindset of a Warrior

We need to have the mindset of a warrior, knowing we're fighting from a place of victory.

Jesus says in Matthew 10:22:

"And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved."

We will face hatred, but love hopes all things and enables us to endure to the end.

Those who endure to the end will be saved.

It's not enough to just start the race - we must finish strong.

Love hopes all things, giving us the strength to go stronger and faster than ever before.

-we fight from a place of victory-

This is the mindset of a true warrior

Enduring Hardship as a Good Soldier

Paul writes to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:1-3:

"You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that yu have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ."

We are called to make disciples, but this means we must be prepared to endure hardship.
The moment you start making disciples, you'll be attacked because you're doing the Great Commission.
Love hopes all things, enabling us to endure hardship like good soldiers of Christ.

Don't Get Entangled in Worldly Affairs

Paul goes on to say in 2 Timothy 2:4:

"No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier."

As soldiers for Christ, we shouldn't get too entangled in the affairs of this world.
Our focus should be on pleasing God and fulfilling our mission.

Love hopes all things, helping us maintain our focus on the Lord rather than worldly distractions.

Enduring for the Sake of Others

Paul writes in 2 Timothy 2:10:

"Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory."

Paul endured all things out of love for the people and love for God.

He was willing to suffer so that others could receive salvation.

Are we prepared to endure all things for the sake of preaching the gospel?

Love hopes all things, motivating us to persevere for the salvation of others.

The Good Fight of Faith

We are in a battle, but it's a good fight because it's a fight we win through Christ.

Paul calls it "the good fight of faith" in 1 Timothy 6:12.

It's a good fight because love hopes all things and we've already won through Christ.

Don't give up - drink of God's love and declare, "I can endure all things through Christ who strengthens me."

The Ultimate Warrior: Jesus Christ

Jesus is the ultimate warrior who showed us how to fight.

He came to fight for justice and righteousness, not for Himself but for us.

Jesus defeated the devil through love - the cross is Love in Action.

The devil couldn't understand what God was doing because he cannot comprehend love.

When we operate in love, the enemy won't understand us either.

Love hopes all things, enabling us to bless our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.

Developing Spiritual Strength and Stamina

God wants His believers to have grit, backbone, strength, and stamina.

To develop this stamina, we need a good diet of God's Word taught by the Holy Spirit.

We need a daily dose of the Holy Ghost, being filled with the Spirit and the Word.

Put on the full armor of God and the mind of Christ.

Declare victory over discouragement, knowing that love hopes all things and endures all things.

Reigning with Christ Through Endurance

2 Timothy 2:12 says:

"If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us."

God will give us a position of power, authority, and promotion when we endure.

The reigning comes after the enduring.

Love hopes all things, giving us the strength to persevere until we reign with Christ.

Enduring Temptation Brings Blessing

James 1:12 declares:

"Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him."

We are blessed when we endure temptation.

When we pass the test, we receive approval and the crown of life.

Love hopes all things, enabling us to overcome temptation and receive God's promises.

Practical Steps for Developing Endurance

  1. Stick to God's Word - your strength and sustenance come from Scripture.
  2. Meditate on the Word and apply it to your life.
  3. Use the Word as a sword of the Spirit to overcome demonic attacks.
  4. Make daily proclamations of God's truth over your life.
  5. Praise the Lord loudly and get more "violent" in spiritual warfare.
  6. Convince yourself that you're a believer who believes all of God's promises.
  7. Look forward to battles, knowing that love hopes all things and you always win in Christ.

Conclusion:

Remember, love hopes all things and love never fails.

When you walk in love, you can never lose a fight.

Even when it looks like you're losing in the natural, you're winning in the spiritual realm.

Cast your cares, times, and seasons into God's hands.

Thank Him for breakthroughs, healing, and provision - they're already yours in Christ.

Declare that you can endure anything the enemy throws at you because God's love in you never fails and never gives up.

Love hopes all things, believes all things, and endures all things.

Let God's love grow in your heart so you can flood this earth with His unfailing, enduring love.
