Using Your Stones to Make Way | Accessing Our Inheritance Through TPW | Part 10

Using your stones to make a way and to kill your giants?

Kill your giants

Part 1 - Video

Part 2 - Video

Early in 2012, I had got to stage in my life where I did not know what else to do in order to get the breakthrough in the business He had called me to.

I knew Father had promised and He is faithful, but still, no breakthrough was evident. I was doing everything I knew I should do.

I asked Him, “what else must I do?”

The Lord showed me that I needed to read the prophetic words and visions that He had given us over the business three years prior.

As I read these words He drew my attention to a specific vision that Mirjam my wife had for the Kingdom Business.

I now read this word three years later and only now did the full understanding hit me like a flash from heaven.

Word

This is the edited version of the prophetic word,

The testimony of your past victory is the stone, and is what is going to take down the wall.

With that one shot everything shakes, that is why the enemy is so upset, when we thank the Lord for what He has done, and He CAN do it again and He WILL do it again, and everything shakes.

The enemy will try and make us to be quiet and unthankful through the circumstances that test us, but as we instead thank the Lord, the wall comes down. One shot is enough.

“Thank Me that I have done it before, now is the time for the new things, but how can I give you a second chance for that which you have not thanked me in the first place?”

Vision

I saw Warren at a T- junction with no road ahead and He said, "you have to go ahead"

I saw the stones of thanksgiving, some are precious stones, I saw with thanksgiving these stones go in the path before you, and create a way where there seems to be no way –

Thanksgiving allows God to make a way where there seems to be no way.

Without the thanksgiving, the stones to build the road with are not released and the road will be much more difficult. I saw that would be like off-roading with no road.

The ability to trust in Him, as He has done it before, thanking Him for that, that is going to created a way in the middle of nowhere.

I also could see that this road at times is not complete the moment you step on it, but it completed itself as you walk on it in faith and thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving makes a way where there seems to be no way

With the above prophetic word, I was now armed with more keys for the breakthrough that Father wanted to give to me. This was not only for me but for all those called into their breakthrough at this time.

The first key was thanksgiving for past victories on a consistent basis.

This released the smooth path for the future. I had a choice between a rough way and a smooth path. The path that we walk is meant to be made out of stones we use through Thanks Giving for our victories in Him.

I realised that the key to my future was in thanking Him and giving glory for what He has done in the past.

When I thanked Him for past victories and even past losses this made a road and smooth path in the desert.

Isaiah 43:19 will come to pass when we give thanks

Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.

He later showed me it was not just thanking Him for my past, but thanking Him for all our spiritual fathers and mothers in history. This included our spiritual parents in the Bible all the way up to Adam.

Thanksgiving heals your heart

The reason I couldn't consistently thank Him for some of the past victories is because of the pain that was there.

The enemy had managed to steel key victories from things from me over the last decade in my life, one of these losses was a very valuable business.

This was my inheritance; that the enemy had stolen.

God had given us the wonderful business that was at stage turning over one hundred million per year with a profit of one million per month.

Much of this profit was channelled to spread the gospel and establish His Kingdom. The enemy wanted to stop and had a plan to do that.

I used much of these finances from this business to build a 24/7 prayer and worship centre in the township of Orange Farm in South Africa.

The loss of this business had caused such deep pain and grief, although I thought I was healed from this loss, I was not.

Every time I thought of what I had lost it brought great sadness and even discouragement and depression.

The enemy had stolen my inheritance and now God wanted to restore what was stolen from me.

At this stage, I preferred just forget what I had lost and put it out of my mind.

Now, Father wanted me to remember details of this business and thank Him for each area of the business that He had given us.

The moment I started to thank Him for each detail of what He had done in the past business, I felt His presence and felt His healing power in my heart.

There were warm tears flowing now from my heart, not of sadness, but of healing as Father was restoring my heart in His presence.

He healed my disappointments, discouragement and all the pain in my heart. He filled my heart with joy and faith.

I began to believe that what He had done for me before, that He was able and now willing do it again – all because He loves me.

Thanksgiving releases Gods manifest presence into our hearts as we open the gates of thanksgiving, it also releases healing when we thank Him for things we have lost.

Father desires to see all His sons receiving their full inheritance on earth and in heaven. Father loves to restore us, as this is His heart.

Father has been working on my faith for years giving me more and more revelation and teaching on this important truth. Yet He still had more for me.

Sometimes when I looked at how much I had lost and how much there was to recover, this mountain just seemed too big.

I was often overcome by a sense of deep sadness and loss when I thought about what was stolen from me.

I needed something to shift in my heart. I needed more faith and I needed healing.

This healing came through thanking Him for the past breakthroughs, no matter how painful it was. Healing also came when I loved those who hurt me the most on my knees.

I did this through actively releasing Father's love over each one as I prayed for them and forgave them and blessed them with His unconditional love.

Obedient thanksgiving will restore your faith in the very area where satan wounded you.

I found that nothing strengthens my faith like thanking Him for and giving testimony to what He has already done for me.

Laying the foundation with Thanks Giving

This solidified the foundation of faith in my heart – giving me hope, faith, courage and light to tackle the giants the ahead of me.

When the rebuilt the temple after it was destroyed they started by laying the foundation when they

laid the foundation they did it with loud radical thanksgiving.

When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, the priests stood in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise the LORD, according to the ordinance of David king of Israel.

And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the LORD:

“For He is good,
For His mercy endures forever toward Israel.”

Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid. Ezra 3:10-11

Even the New Jerusalem's foundation is made out of stones, which city we are. As the New Jerusalem is the Bride of Christ the City of God!

The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald Revelation 21:19

We can never thank Him too much.

When we thank Him we realise how much He cares for us and loves for us, after all, He is heavenly Dad.

God then gave me more revelation and spoke to about David and how David used his stones to kill the giants in his life.

David’s memorial stones

David knew the power of his testimony and gave God the thanks and glory for these. Before David could confront Goliath directly, David first had to conquer the giants of fear operating over Saul.

The power of sharing your testimony is that when you do you saying doing again to the Lord.

When David was sent to deliver Israel from Goliath and the philistines, he first shares two of his most powerful memorial stones with Saul, as Saul was not convinced that David was Israel’s champion.

We need to consider the great risk in this decision; if David lost the fight then the whole nation of Israel would have gone into slavery to the philistines.

Up until that time all of Israel’s warriors were paralysed with fear as they knew that this giant was much stronger than any of them and would kill them in hand to hand combat. This is why Goliath took challenged them the way he did.

David never compared himself to the giant but compared the giant to God

And a champion went out from the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, from Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.

5 He had a bronze helmet on his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail, and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of bronze.

6 And he had bronze armor on his legs and a bronze javelin between his shoulders.

7 Now the staff of his spear was like a weaver’s beam, and his iron spearhead weighed six hundred shekels; and a shield-bearer went before him.

8 Then he stood and cried out to the armies of Israel, and said to them, “Why have you come out to line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and you the servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves, and let him come down to me.

9 If he is able to fight with me and kill me, then we will be your servants. But if I prevail against him and kill him, then you shall be our servants and serve us.”

10 And the Philistine said, “I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.”

11 When Saul and all Israel heard these words of the Philistine, they were dismayed and greatly afraid. 1 Samuel 17:4-11

The enemy always tries to get us to look at our own strength in comparisons to our giants and mountains. When we do this we are deceived into unbelief.

Israel made the mistake and looked at the giant and heard his words daily, comparing themselves and their own strength to the giants power, their hearts failed them for fear as they knew they could beat him.

David never compared the giant to himself but compared the giant to the God of Israel who had done so many things for him.

The main difference between David and the rest Israel was that David knew God intimately and had stones ( these stones were his personal testimony of God delivering him) the rest only knew him through what others had said.

David knew Gods hand of deliverance personally. David knew that it was not in own power that he was delivered from the lion and the bear.

He knew God as He was a worshipper who loved God in the secret place.

David wasn’t looking to his own personal strength but to Gods strength He knew through His continual lifestyle of thanksgiving, that if God had done it before, He will do it again.

Armed with his faith, David overcomes doubt and fear and unbelief in Saul by sharing his testimony.

With enthusiasm, David told Saul how God had delivered the lion and the bear into his hands. Saul was delivered from fear through these stones of David and handed the whole Israel into David's hands.

Hear Davids' heart;

Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” 37 Moreover David said, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:36-37

Thanksgiving releases a death blow to our giant

When David finally chose the five smooth stones – each of these stones represented Gods victory and testimony in his life just as the twelve memorial stones spoke of Gods deliverance from the wilderness over the flooded Jordan into the promised land (Joshua 4:1-7).

The Lord showed me that we release our memorial stones into the giants head, when we use the sling of thanksgiving and testify to others of Gods victory in our lives.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. Psalm 100:4

Walking with thanksgiving within our hearts sets us free from blindness that comes from focusing on our problems.

Thanking God turns our giants into bread and our problems into stepping stones. Click to Tweet

Father has brought us to place of impossibility so that He can show Himself strong on our behalf.

The moment we thank Him in faith we step into His realm of, “nothing is impossible to Him who believes”.

Thanking Him for the past victories and suffering makes way for the future. Thanking Him for what is yet to come releases the future into the present realm on earth.

Thanking Him for the past releases the foundation for the building.

Thanking Him for the future releases the building.

The word thanksgiving in Psalm 100:4 is the Hebrew word – “towdah” which means confession, praise, thanksgiving or to give praise to God or thanksgiving in songs of liturgical worship, hymn of praise or a thanksgiving choir or procession or line or company.

I believe as we worship God in line and as a “company of worshippers like David did we will see the birthing of His promises.

Corporately Gathering our memorial stones

He showed us is that we need to keep gathering together to worship Him. The more pressure there is the more we should gather. As the word says,

not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” Hebrews 10:25

We are at the end of the end times, we should be gathering more and more to seek Him and worship Him as they did in the book of acts.

Part of these gatherings need to include a time corporate repentance, corporate sharing of our testimonies – stones and then break out into TPW (Thanksgiving, Praise and Worship)

The only way through this horde of hell is together. So we have opened our home for those who want to gather and worship Him and bring their stones to share.

We encourage each one of you to do the same where you are based. Open up your home or business offices for corporate times of worship and glorifying God. You don't need many just two or three and He is in your midst.

These stones include what God has done for you over your whole life.

We need to learn from the pattern God gave to Joshua. They had to corporately gather stones one for each tribe in Israel as a memorial.

In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 7 tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.” Joshua 4:6-7

These stones are the weapons we use to overcome the giants just as David used a stone to overcome Goliath.

Let us gather our stones and share our praise reports and walk together.

National Giants to be overcome by Corporate Stones

We need to have gatherings of TPW where we testify of our stones and use them against the giants of abortion, murder witchcraft, corruption, poverty, racism, violence, etc.

We need to walk in unity in our nation to take down these giants.

When I got your email notification on this TPW edition, I read it and I heard the Spirit of the LORD encouraging me to thank the LORD for the failures in my life that have taunting me for a long time as well as the blessings I have experienced. I’ve been having this hollowish pain in my heart stemming from the trauma I’ve had with the failure of my marriage. I’d flashbacks about this on a daily basis. Painful thoughts I couldn’t control when they flooded into my mind.
As I obeyed and praised GOD for all of these pains and blessings, that pain left me instantly. It’s been a few days now and I don’t feel it nor experience those flashbacks anymore. I praise Jesus my LORD and Saviour for HIS healing

    • Father's Heart Admin says:
