Imagine being in a place where we are always fruitful and are never made to stumble? You might think this is impossible as we are ‘only human’.
We might be human and weak, but God’s power is more than enough to bring us to place of fruitfulness.
As the church is called through the wilderness into the Promised Land, we are called to into a place of divine fruitfulness in all areas in our lives.
We are commanded to bear fruit and need to learn how to be fruitful.
Being in the Promised Land is being in and operating within the Kingdom of God. As we resist and overcome each of these six thieves we enter into His Kingdom dimension.
The six thieves that rob your breakthrough
But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” Mark 4:20
The key to overcoming the six thieves is to hear and accept His word in order to be fruitful.
To “hear” is to attend to --- shamma in Hebrew means “obedient ears”, to hear in order to obey. The word hear can be broken down into (h + ear )– to really hear God, we need the 'H' which is Humility and then ears that are attentive to listen to God. Humility is always needed before can really hear God speak.
Through many tribulations we shall enter the Kingdom of heaven
The Kingdom Dimension is where Jesus rules as King and where the normal rules of the world do not have power over us; only His rules apply and we have the victory.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23
There is no law against the fruit of the Spirit, no rules that are higher than God's nature and character, as God is love. Only when we learn to love and walk in His fruit, are we free and live in victory regardless of our circumstances.
As you will see in the following scripture:
“…But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness , and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:5-11
When we allow His divine nature to flow and grow within us; this then unlocks the abundance of His Kingdom in our lives. He is now our source and provider in all areas.
It doesn’t matter whether your breakthrough concerns;
failing health, bareness, wayward children, broken relationships, lack of finances, a bankrupt business, failing ministry, failing career, no job etc, etc or any combination of these.
We can only receive these when we walk according to these 8 principles of the Kingdom
He says give all diligence on the following keys
1. Faith
What is faith? Faith comes when God speaks directly to us.
Faith says it is already done! As we can see from our father Abraham and the Lord Himself.
Faith calls those things that are not, as though they were.
Faith knows it is finished the moment we prayed the prayer of now faith. All that He has promised us has been completed by Him.
True faith does not focus on the facts, but has the power to change the facts. Click to Tweet
The faith of Abraham
And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. Romans 4:19-21
We need to have faith in Him and His precious promises, but faith alone is not enough to make us fruitful and to never stumble, we need more than faith.
2. Virtue
We need to add to our faith, virtue.
What is virtue?
Virtue is moral purity.
Moral purity refers to our honesty, integrity and sexual conduct.
Those who are godly will be filled with virtue.
Are we doing what we say and are we 100 % honest in all our dealings?
We are called to be the light in this dark world.
3. Knowledge
Knowledge is not just knowing the truth in our heads; but knowing Him as the Truth in our hearts.
Knowing Him and knowing His word talks about intimacy in the very deepest sense of the word.
The reason Jesus came and died for us is so that we can have eternal life, which is intimacy with Him forever.
4. Self control
This is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. As we grow in self control we learn to control self and stop our flesh from having its way.
When we are faced with temptations, like anger, sexual lust, jealousy etc if we have self-control we are able to control ourselves and resist the temptation.
Self control also talks about discipline. When are tempted to sleep longer, but God is waking us to pray, self control will cause us to have a disciplined prayer life.
5. Perseverance
Perseverance is when we persist through failure and trials and never give up. We need both faith, patience and love to be able to persevere.
This is the tenacity that never gives up on God’s will and calling for our lives no matter what it costs us.
We need perseverance in order to press through the resistance that is between us and God's promise in order to see the promise to manifest in the natural realm.
6. Godliness
Godliness, is being like God in all areas of our lives. When we are godly we will also be holy, which is being set apart from the world by His nature.
Being like Him, when people are not watching, is godliness.
Walking in the consciousness of God and the fear of God will cause us to be godly.
7. Brotherly kindness
We are called to show love to the brethren first, and then to love the world.
Over the years we get hurt, abused and accused by our very own brothers and sisters.
These wounds need to be healed and overcome so that we can continue to show His kindness to our brothers and sisters. This healing comes through our great Comforter the Holy Spirit when we spend time with Him giving Him our wounds and burdens. What I do when I am really hurting is what I call an Intimacy Point, where I pray through the issue with the help of the Holy Spirit in order to get healed and overcome the issue that is blocking my fellowship with God.
8. Love
This is the love we find in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
This is the love that suffers long with others and our circumstances.
This is the love takes no offence at others.
This is the love that does not take account of wrongs suffered.
This is the love that believes all things
This love endures all things
This is the love will never, never, never fail you nor fail any tests
All the above are summed up in love; for God is love
These are the keys to the kingdom – we walk in them and we will be fruitful –
The Benefits of being filled with these eight things
- Bareness both spiritual and physical will be removed from your life
- You will be fruitful in all you do
- You will have light to see what God is doing – the Spirit of prophecy will rest on you
- You will never stumble
Allowing His Words to grow in us is what brings us to His Kingdom promises and inheritance.
We can only be filled with these eight keys by His Spirit of Grace. This is not done through our own works, but through His works in us.
We need to surrender to Him in faith allowing Him to make us like Him, allowing Him to change us, as He imparts the desire for Him to make us just like Him.
Prayer:
Father I ask you to fill me with Your Holy Spirit.
Spirit of grace and obedience I welcome you into my heart and life now.
Fill me with Your faith expose each of these thieves in my heart and life and deliver me from each one.
Father you are faith and will break the cycle of barrenness in my life, making me fruitful in all that You have called me to do.
Thank you for opening my eyes that I might see what You are doing and keeping my feet from stumbling into the traps of the enemy.
I now receive your abundance into my life right now!
