Jesus The High Priest Of Our Confession | Part 3

By Warren David Horak

Jesus who is The Truth is committed to His WORD of Truth.

Are we as committed and faithful to our words, as Jesus is committed to being faithful to His words?

For those who are committed to Truth and their words they will see The Truth manifest in their lives as the High Priest The Truth watches over our confessions to perform them.

Each word that we speak is supposed to bring forth life!

Our words will start to manifest around us and in us, only the degree that we love the Truth more than our own lives.

Revelation 19:11–13 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

Aligning Our Words with The Word

Introduction

In our journey of faith, we encounter a profound truth: Jesus, the embodiment of Truth itself, is committed to His Word in a way that demands our reverence and emulation.

As we explore the depths of this reality, we are confronted with a pivotal question:

Are we as committed and faithful to our own words as Jesus is to His?

The Scriptures reveal that Jesus, the High Priest of our Faith, is intimately involved in overseeing our confessions, and our commitment to speaking words of life has far-reaching consequences.

The Power of Our Words

The words we speak are imbued with a sacred power – the power to bring forth life or death. As the book of Proverbs declares, "The preparations of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD" (Proverbs 16:1). Our words are not mere utterances but potent forces that can either align with or contradict the very Word of God. Jesus the High Priest of our Faith, the living embodiment of the Word (Revelation 19:13), is committed to ensuring that our words bear fruit in accordance with His eternal truth.

The Accountability of Our Words

In Matthew 12:33-37, Jesus issues a sobering reminder: "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

This scripture underscores the gravity of our speech, as we will be held accountable for every idle word spoken. Idle words, those carelessly uttered without intention or truth, release the mandates of the enemy into our lives. Jesus the High Priest of our Faith, the One who judges in righteousness (Revelation 19:11), calls us to a higher standard – a commitment to truth that permeates our words and aligns them with His eternal Word.

The Path to Fruitful Words

To unlock the power of our words and experience the manifestation of the promises of God in our lives, we must cultivate a love for the Truth that surpasses even our love for our own lives.

As Rick Joyner's prophetic experience in "The Final Quest" reveals, "Those who really believe that My Words are true will also be true to their own words." Jesus the High Priest of our Faith, the Faithful and True One (Revelation 19:11), invites us to walk in faithfulness, ensuring that our "yes" means "yes," and our "no" means "no."

Final Quest by Rick Joyner

“My Word is the power that upholds all things.

To the degree that you believe My Word is true, you can do all things._

Those who really believe that My Words are true will also be true to their own words.

It is My nature to be true, and the creation trusts My Word because I am faithful to it.

“Those who are like Me are also true to their own words.

Their word is sure, and their commitments are trustworthy. Their 'yes' means 'yes,' and their 'no' means 'no.' If your own words are not true, you will also begin to doubt My Words because deception is in your heart.

If you are not faithful to your own words, it is because you do not really know Me.

To have faith, you must be faithful. I have called you to walk by faith because I am faithful. It is My nature.

“That is why you will be judged because of the careless words you speak.

To be careless is to care less. Words have power, and those who are careless with words cannot be trusted with the power of My Word. It is wisdom to be careful with your words and to keep them as I do Mine.”

The Heart of the Matter

The words we speak originate from the wellspring of our hearts. Jesus emphasizes this truth, stating, "For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" (Matthew 12:34). To transform our words, we must allow the Holy Spirit to work within our hearts, purifying and aligning them with the Truth. As we surrender our hearts to the lordship of Jesus the High Priest of our Faith, the good treasure within will overflow, and our words will become vessels of life and power.

The Confession of Faith

Our confession of faith in Jesus Christ is the bedrock upon which our salvation rests.

Romans 10:9-10 declares, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that Gohas raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Jesus the High Priest of our Faith not only oversees our salvation but also guards the integrity of our confession, ensuring that our words align with the truth of His resurrection and the power of His name.

The Manifestation of Truth

As we align our words with the Truth, we position ourselves to witness the manifestation of the promises of God in our lives. Jesus' words in Mark 11:23 resound with authority:

"For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says."

Jesus the High Priest of our Faith is committed to honoring our words spoken in faith, for He is the embodiment of the Word that upholds all things (Hebrews 1:3).

The Faithfulness of God

Even when our words falter, God remains faithful to His Word.

As Romans 3:3-4 proclaims, "For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar."

Jesus the High Priest of our Faith is unwavering in His commitment to His Word, and His faithfulness is not contingent upon our own wavering faith or careless utterances.

The Call to Faithful Living

To walk in the fullness of our calling as believers, we must embody the same faithfulness that Jesus the High Priest of our Faith exemplifies.

As Rick Joyner's prophetic experience emphasizes,

"If your own words are not true, you will also begin to doubt My Words because deception is in your heart. If you are not faithful to your own words, it is because you do not really know Me."

Our faithfulness to our words is a reflection of our knowledge and understanding of the One who is the Word incarnate.

The Transformative Power of Words

As we align our words with the Truth and embrace the faithfulness of Jesus the High Priest of our Faith, a transformative process begins to unfold.

Our words, once tainted by doubt or carelessness, become vessels of life and power.

The words we speak have the potential to shape our reality, influence our circumstances, and even impact the spiritual realm.

When we speak in faith, we release the mandates of Heaven, and the armies of Heaven, clothed in fine linen (Revelation 19:14), are mobilized to bring our words to fruition.

Conclusion

In this journey of faith, we are called to a higher standard – a commitment to speaking words of life that honor the Word made flesh, Jesus the High Priest of our Faith.

As we surrender our hearts to His lordship and align our tongues with His Truth, we position ourselves to experience the manifestation of His promises and the transformation of our lives.

May we embrace the faithfulness of Jesus the High Priest of our Faith, allowing His Word to shape our words and our words to shape our reality, ultimately bringing glory to the One whose name is King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 19:16).
