Replacing The Cactus of Suffering With His Joy | Part 3
From Suffering to Joy: Embracing God's Promise of Healing and Restoration
By Warren David Horak
The Lord is set on replacing your pain and suffering with His joy.
Today we look at how to transition from pain to joy even when our circumstances have not changed.
The Lord wants us to walk in His peace and joy no matter what trials we are experiencing, as His joy is our strength.
Isaiah 61:3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”
The Lord is saying to you today;
"You do not have to live any longer in that place of suffering!"
"I will replace the cactus of pain in your life with My Joy."

Introduction
In our journey through life, we often find ourselves weighed down by the burdens of pain, suffering, and trauma.
The trials we face can leave us feeling trapped within the confines of a metaphorical "house of pain," erected by the enemy to keep us captive.
However, God's heart for us is one of love, comfort, and restoration. He desires to lead us out of this house of suffering and into a life filled with joy, peace, and salvation.
Choosing to Live in the Covenant Rainbow
"Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." (Romans 8:37, NKJV)
The path from suffering to joy begins with a conscious choice to live within the covenant rainbow of God's healing presence.
This rainbow symbolizes His promise of restoration and the hope that transcends our circumstances.
By focusing our thoughts and hearts on His joy, we can break free from the chains of pain and step into the freedom He has prepared for us.
Leaving the House of Pain
The house of pain is a construct of the enemy, designed to keep us trapped in a cycle of reliving our past traumas and sufferings.
As long as we remain fixated on these past experiences, we grant power and authority to the very forces that seek to oppress us.
It is time to leave this house of pain behind and embrace the truth that our portion lies in the Father's house, filled with joy, peace, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.
The Walls of Our Memories
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17, NKJV)
The walls of the house of pain are not physical barriers but rather the memories and fixations that hold us captive.
However, the Lord promises to make a way for us to break through these walls.
By surrendering our past to the power of His blood, we can experience the transformative truth that all things have become new in Christ.

Focusing on our past pain and trauma robs us of the freedom and truth that God has for us in the present moment.
Focusing on the Present
Focusing on our past pain and trauma robs us of the freedom and truth that God has for us in the present moment.
Within seconds, our present becomes the past, perpetuating a cycle of recalling and reliving the very suffering we long to escape.
The Lord desires to set us free from this cycle each and every day, as we surrender our past into His loving embrace.
The House of Life and Love
Our true dwelling place is not the house of sufferings but the Father's house, filled with joy, peace, love, and the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit.
This is the house where we are meant to abide, basking in the warmth of God's love and the freedom He has purchased for us through the sacrifice of His Son.
Conclusion
The journey from suffering to joy is a path paved by the grace and mercy of our Heavenly Father.
By choosing to live within the covenant rainbow, leaving the house of pain behind, breaking through the walls of our memories, focusing on the present moment, and embracing the house of life and love, we can experience the true joy and restoration that God has promised us.
May we ever walk in the light of His presence, free from the chains of the past and filled with the hope of a future overflowing with His goodness.
