Christopher Opperman says:

Yeshua did go to “Bible school”. It was part of the traditional and mandatory training of the young boys, and at certain ages the boys fell out of school based on their non-performance. Yeshua fulfilled the full curriculum and earned the title Rabbi. This was an extremely difficult thing to achieve. This makes His ministry so much more remarkable, because He did not follow the high priest’s teachings, but rather His Abba in Heaven’s training, and yet no priest or rabbi ever publicly contradicted Him, although they did try to lead Him into academic trouble every so often.
Whereas His compatriots became legalistic religious academic rabbis, He was the opposite and sinless Person who taught in a practical and not theoretical manner.
He was a highly trained individual who had every opportunity to become a haughty person of importance. The other rabbis sought the brightest boys in the class to become their disciples whereas Yeshua went out inviting the scholastic non-performers. The disciple of the day was part of the rabbi’s social standing (like being a professor at Oxford or Harvard university) Yeshua’s disciples was rather part of the ridicule of His person because they were mere fishermen, therefor intellectually dismissible.
All of this makes His ministry so so much more remarkable.
