Once you have won the soul for Christ they need to be Baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit and Discipled.

After the Holy Spirit came and filled the disciples on the day of Pentecost and Peter preached a powerful word. The people were pricked to their heart and said what must we do to be saved?

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:37-39

Can anyone forbid water?

Then again when the Gentiles were filled with the Holy Spirit Peter said can anyone forbid water.

For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God.

Then Peter answered, “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?

And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days. Acts 10:46-48

Notes on Soul winning 101

The Heart of the Father is for souls as He sent His only Son to save the world.

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.

Count the cost before you start a family - house church

The rewards - Daniel 12:3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.

Count the cost of not obeying the Lord

Our calling to follow Him and win souls:

Mark 1:16–18 And as He walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
17 Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”
18 They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

Our calling to make disciples:

Matt 28:19-20 *Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,* baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 *teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;* and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Judgment seat of Christ in 2 Corinthians 5:12 we will be judged and rewarded based on our obedience and doing His will. This includes making disciples. We are all called to make disciples no one is excluded from this command.

Do not abandon the babies become a responsible parent and disciples the babies.

If you love Jesus you will feed His Sheep and tend His lambs - John 21:15-19

Learn how to be a parent.

Father is looking for parents not sperm donors … who abandon babies

Getting unbelievers saved is easy - harvest is white unto harvest and ready. Parenting children is hard work

How to win souls 101

Start with the problem - The Ten commandments and coming judgment of mankind

Only lead them to Christ when they ready.

Beware of false conversions and getting them to pray prayers with no conviction of sin and faith. Listen to this message by Ray Comfort - Hell's best kept secret

Take time to share with them, do not rush the process of sharing the Gospel with them which includes some of the 10 commandments which they are breaking and mankind's dilemma.

They need to repent from their sin in order to do that they need to know the law that leads them to the Lamb and savior.

The law Galatians as our tutor to lead us to Christ 3:19-25

Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

We all fall short of the glory of God - Romans 3:21-26

Lead them to Christ the Lamb and savior through the tutor / law to receive the free gift by faith.

Allow Holy Spirit to us the law to convict them so they can clearly recognize that they have a problem:

Now ask them questions around the 10 commandments:

  • Have you ever told a lie? God says we must not lie or bear false witness. What do you call a person who lies?
  • Have ever stolen anything? God says we must not steal. What do you call a person who steals?
  • Have you looked at person with lust? Jesus says we commit adultery if we look at a person with lust. What do you call someone who commits adultery?
  • If you died and stood before God as the judge? Would you be found guilty based on His Law?
  • The Bible says in James 2:10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.

Base on your own admission of guilt would you go to Heaven or Hell?

God's word says we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23 It also says, “There is none righteous, no, not one Romans 3:10

We have broken the law there are 10 commandments

God is holy and has perfection as His standard. Judgment day is coming all mankind - Revelation 20:11-15, 21:8

Heaven and Hell

God made hell for the devil and the demons not for people.

He says those who do these things will be cast into hell.. Rev 21:8

The solution

The lamb of God --- the sign of redemption in the Temple as the sacrifice for their sins - for centuries the Jews sacrificed animals who were innocent to pay for their cover their sins

When God sent Jesus to earth John the Baptist said, behold the Lamb of God who comes to take away the sin of the world

That is why John 3:16 is so vitally important

God so loves you He sent Jesus to pay the price for your sins.

To save you and I from going to hell with the devil and the demons he sent His only son who was innocent of any sin or crime to die for you on the cross and to prove that sacrifice was acceptable God raised Jesus from the dead and He is seated in heaven now.

If you repent from your sins and believe in this good news and confess Jesus as your Lord you will be saved. Romans 10:9-10

You must be born again - John 3:3-8  this means your spirit is born a new not your body or your soul

Repentance Acts 3:19, Acts 11:18, 2 Peter 3:9

Prayer of repentance and salvation:

(Note: Now pray this out loud with them. You can keep your eyes open while they pray to see if there is an demonic manifestations.)

"God I come to you as a sinner and I repent for my sin. I need You to save me.

God I believe that You sent Your Only begotten Son, Jesus, to be the sacrificial Lamb for all my sins.

Jesus became the Lamb of God who took my sins on the cross.

Jesus I believe You died for my sins and my sicknesses and diseases.

I believe that You were buried and rose from the dead after three days proving God's acceptance of Your sacrifice for my sins.

Jesus save me from my sins and from hell.

I now make Jesus my Lord and savior of my life.

I repent for all my sins…. Now confess your sins one by one…..

(Note: allow them time to confess their sins. Let them now confess their sins one at a time…)

I now renounce satan in my life and all his works in Jesus name. I now break every stronghold that satan had over my life in Jesus name.

I renounce each and every sin and stronghold in my life…

Now confess your each stronghold in your life one by one…..

(Note: allow them time to address each stronghold be that alcohol, witchcraft, drugs, adultery, theft, lying etc… This is very important to do this especially before baptism in water)

Jesus I thank You for saving me today.

I now will follow You and obey You all the days of my life. I commit today to being a disciple of Jesus and making disciples for You!

AMEN AMEN."

They need to start here:

1. Introduction to Discipleship

This course focuses on introducing believers to the discipleship process.

2. Foundations

These are powerful teachings that will lay an excellent foundation for a new believer focusing on some of the six foundations for the Church in Hebrews 6:1-2.

Your work has just started

You now disciple them and invite them to be discipled.

Give them your number and follow up with them and make sure you disciple them and if you cannot make sure you get them properly adopted by another disciple of Christ.

You can find out more about making disciples and house church here

Baptism in Water and Holy Spirit and Deliverance

It is very important that once someone is makes Jesus Lord that they are baptised in water and delivered from any demons and the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues the same day the are born again as soon as possible after they are saved.

This is your responsibility as a disciple of Jesus. This is not for your pastor or anyone else to do. But it is for you to know how to do this and make sure it is done as soon as the person gets saved.

This is critical as the word of God says,

Matthew 12:43–45  “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.
Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.
Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.”

We see that if the person is not filled with His word and His Spirit the demons that come out will return with other demons and the person will be worse off.
