I saw a hat, a big cowboy hat with a very wide rim which casts a large shadow. Cares of the world, fear and anxiety was written on this hat = FAS.

I saw the wide rim of this hat casts a shadow on all the words of God; these words are seeds, and I saw the seeds can’t grow in the shadow. This is “shadow” as we see in (Psalm 23:4 the spirit called shadow). This is hat of mammon is for anyone.

If you wear the hat you will see the word of God under the shadow of fear and stress and anxiety.

Only when you look with eyes of love and not of fear, then you are going to see as Jesus sees.

The Lord wants to give you thoughts of light and life, and not thoughts of darkness. This is the carnal mind. All we have to do is take off the hat.

I saw how when person comes with the light and shares it with the person with the hat of mammon on, that is the hat of fear, anxiety and stress, this darkness covers the light that the messenger of God is bringing.

We now can’t see because of the “shadow” of the hat. The enemy is blinding us with shadow of fear, anxiety and stress.

We’ve got to choose to take off the hat as Father wants to give us the mind of Christ. The mind of Christ is the helmet of salvation. We can’t put the helmet on with the hat still on too.

Those thoughts are talking to us, the thoughts are what casts a shadow, reasoning – carnal thinking.

Listening to the counsel of shadow.

(Note: shadow is the spirit that prophecy’s satan’s lies and plans for our lives when we are in a difficult place. He will say things like, “this will never work, your wasting your time, you will lose everything if you do this”)

Note: If you wear this hat you are not able to receive the words of the Lord nor can you see the path He has for you.

When you listen to the counsel of life you get light, when you listen to the counsel of “shadow” the seed is going to die.

The seed are the words and promises that God has given us. As long as we keep the hat on the seed will die.

Seeds need light to grow, seeds grow in love and not in fear.

I saw He is waiting next to us to take the hat and give us the helmet of salvation. If you give me what is yours I will give you what is mine –Jeremiah 29:11.

He wants to give us His thoughts if only we will give Him ours.

We can’t really see Him with the hat on, because He is not in the shadow, He is the light. He is not in fear, anxiety or stress.

In that shadow we can’t even see good, as the shadow is evil. Darkness is negative.James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning”

1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light”

The more you listen to the counsel of the shadow the darker it will get, until you are completely blind like a bat.

The Lord can’t take the hat off, we must do it. It is our free will.

The more the fears and anxieties the bigger the rim of the hat, this covers the path ahead, so you can end up taking the wrong road. Listening to the wrong counsel will deceive you.

I then continued seeing that it is these workers of darkness that give us the hat, and that as soon as we agree with the thoughts or their words of fear, anxiety, stress etc, we put the hat on, and start seeing less clearly.

This is why fear blinds you. It casts a shadow over everything we see and hear and experience.

We willingly accept this hat, as it suits our reasoning’s.

The demons seek to agree with our already dark thoughts, that go through our minds – carnal thinking – our reasoning and our fears – as soon as we agree with them, they give us their covering.

We only get rid of this hat as we give (repent of) our burdens and fears etc in surrender to Him. He then replaces it with the helmet of salvation.

The helmet He wants to give us is a helmet with thoughts of salvation – those thoughts don’t make room for the counsel of the wicked one.

The question is in whose counsel are we walking?

Am I walking in the counsel of the truth, which brings light, truth, joy and peace and life?

Or am I walking in the counsel of the wicked one, who is continually seeking to put fear on me, just so I will wear this covering in the form of this hat, and submit to him and his counsels?

Psalm 18:28 For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness

Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Is 50:10 “Who among you fears the Lord? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness And has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord And rely upon his God

John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. ”

Ephesians 5:8-14 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light ^9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), ^10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. ^11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. ^12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. ^13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. ^14 Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light. ”

He asks of us to walk as children of light. That requires us to walk in the truth and to take away the veil off our eyes and the covering on our head that is causing us to be blind and therefore children of darkness.

He wants us to expose the unfruitful works of darkness, which is why He is revealing to us how the counsels of darkness works. As soon as these things are exposed, the light of His truth will be shed on that which appeared as darkness in front of our eyes.

Suddenly we see the hat we’ve been wearing all this time.

The hat of mammon = FAS = Fear, Anxiety, Stress

This shadow which is spirit that is released over our life and finances, is lying to us continually.

It is telling us, we won’t have enough,

It is telling us that God is punishing us and that that’s why He is taking so long,

It is telling us all sorts of discouraging counsels that will eventually makes us want to turn our backs on the truth of His word.

Matt 6:22-26 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. ^23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

^24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

^25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? ^26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Whatever we look at will either bring light, or it will cause us to become completely blind! Jesus says if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness!

This goes beyond just wearing a hat that casts a shadow on the light of His truth, this is a walk of darkness that first off starts with a seed of darkness in our minds, yet as we allow the seed to grow and feed it more darkness, all we will see is darkness as darkness is now overtaking the light.

When we wear this hat of mammon (fear, anxiety and stress), we can’t really see Jesus as He is not in the shadow. This means we’ve got to come out of the darkness of the counsel of fear, and into His light.

John 12:35-36 Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. ^36 While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light. ”
