Prayer For A Community Revival
Prayer for a community is to release revival so that our communities will be transformed.
The Lord is giving us our communities, towns, cities and nations. We need to learn how to pray effectively for our communities so we will see revival breakout.
He wants to pour out His glory over all the earth, starring in your home and then your community.
You have maximum authority wherever the Lord has placed you that is where you live and where He sends you. His Will for your life is your authority.
We need to take the 31 October back from the enemy this day belongs to Jesus. This day does not belong to the enemy.
We as believers have been given authority to take back what belongs to the Lord. Every day belongs to Him.
Clearly Halloween is a pagan festival which releases darkness into our streets and communities. To find out more read here
In history the 31 October was actually the day of Reformation of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Christians in many lands will celebrate Reformation Day on the 31 October 1517, marking the anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther nailing his " 95 Theses against Indulgences" to the door of the Schloss Kirsche (Castle Church) in the university city of Wittenberg, Germany.
The hammer blows were felt all the way to Rome. The theological fire thus ignited spread across Europe.
We need to remember on 31 October that the Protestant Reformation changed forever the history of Western civilization and quite possibly led to the establishment of the United States of America and the Republic of South Africa.
Why did Luther choose 31 October to initiate his attack on indulgences? Possibly because it was a Hallowed Eve in the Church calendar.
From the 8th Century the church celebrated All Hallows (All Saints) Day on 1st November to remember its martyrs who had died for their faith in Jesus Christ.
It was like a Christian "Memorial Day."
Your authority in your community
Jesus gave us authority over all the power of the enemy. It is now time to take back our communities for Jesus!
We do this through unified surrender, repentance, prayer, declarations, decrees and TPW (Thanksgiving, Praise and Worship).
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Jesus has given us authority over all the power of the enemy.
It is time to take the Land back!
Colossians 1:13–18 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
Colossians 1:19–20 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,
and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
Release Revival Through Humbling Ourselves
As we repent and humble ourselves on behalf of our communities as Daniel, Ezra and Nehemiah did in Daniel 9, Ezra 9 and Nehemiah 9. Jesus comes to wash our communities with His Blood.
As we corporately come together and surrender ourselves we climb the staircase of surrender into His Blood and He releases the Spirit of Revival over our homes and communities.

- We repent for doubt, unbelief, pride, hypocrisy, greed, covetousness, theft, lies, idolatry, spiritual adultery, unfaithfulness, broken agreements and covenants, perversion and misuse of scripture.
- We repent for all bloodshed, murder, abortion, assault, slander, backbiting, strife, division and dishonour in the Church, for hyper grace message and every false doctrine.
- We repent for slavery, self-righteousness, unrighteous judgement, witchcraft, sorcery, divination, manipulation and control.
- We repent for anger, lust, substance abuse, drunkenness, sexual immorality, adultery, rape.
- We repent sexual, verbal, emotional and physical abuse.
- We repent for divorce, sexism and racism.
- We repent for injustice, unfaithfulness, lack of love, betrayal, exploitation of labour, rejecting the foreigners/aliens.
- We repent for laziness, slackness, cursing, ancestor worship, witchcraft, sorcery, animal & human sacrifices, all blood guilt, all covenants made with death & hell.
- We repent for toil, stress, worry and fear over having our needs met, for not fully trusting You to provide for us.
- We repent for abandoning our children, for not honouring our fathers and mothers, for not training up our children in the ways of the Lord.
- Lord we repent for antisemitism and hating the Jews and not honouring our spiritual fathers and mothers.
- We ask You to wash our house and community and all the land and air with Your blood from top to bottom.

Corporate Surrender
- Holy Spirit help me to surrender and repent.
- Lord Jesus we surrender All to You
- We surrender our own agenda, program, life, spirit, soul and body
- We surrender our understanding and perceptions and belief systems and wisdom and every thought that is contrary to your thoughts.
- We surrender the church, the body of Christ and the entire community into Your Blood and we bind it all to the cross of Jesus Christ.
- We surrender our enemies, their plans and all evil into the Blood of Jesus and we bind it to the cross.
- We surrender all the land, atmosphere, water, people, buildings, relationships, agreements, covenants and every creature into Your Blood in Jesus Name and we bind it all to the cross.
Renounce the sin, close the gates, cut, resist, and bind – bind the strong man
The Lord has instructed us the shut the gates to our communities and keep them shut through the Blood of Jesus. Read about shutting the gates of hell over you city here
- We now release the arrows of light and blood into every stronghold coming against our community! Read more about this strategy here
- We now resist and bind every planned halloween walk in our community in Jesus Name.
- We now renounce, bind and cut off and resist the spirits of jezebel, witchcraft, ancestor worship (amaglozi), druid spirits, greed, theft, murder, lies, mammon, idolatry, religion and fear (immani).
- We cut off and destroy every tie with the land and the wealth, that was made through the ancestor spirits, witchcraft, death and powers of hell in Jesus Name.
- We ask You Father that You would remove the curse on the land for those who operate within Your Kingdom. Bring them into the place of supernatural increase, blessing and rest.
- Help Your people to Abide in Your love each day on this property and in this community in Jesus Name.
Help them to build and maintain the altar of TPW (Thanksgiving, Praise and Worship) in each house, place in this community. - We ask You Father to cut off all the unholy ties, lay lines and constellations connected with this land in Jesus Name.
- We ask You Father to dethrone the powers and principalities over this land and to establish Your Kingdom rule over this house and this land.
- We now uproot the tree of TOKOGE which is the (The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil) on this land.
- Thank You, Father, that You now bind all this darkness in heaven for us and cast it out of this land and the market place, permanently in Jesus Name.
- We now loose the armour of kings that rule over this community and this land in Jesus Name.
- We now loose, all the people under control of the power of darkness that operate on this land in Jesus Name.
- We see the Lion of Judah (Praise) roaring and standing on this land now.
- We close the gate of hell on this property and community with the blood of Jesus and the keys of the Kingdom.
- Father we now ask for open heavens over our city and community now in Jesus Name!
Dedication of the Community Land
- We now dedicate and reconnect this land and everything on it, the atmosphere above it, to You alone Jesus Christ Creator of heaven and earth, the Chief cornerstone, for Your Kingdom purpose and glory.
- We give this community land back to You for Your Kingdom purposes. Have Your way here, let Your Kingdom come on earth and will be done, as it is in heaven.
- We now plant the Tree of Life with the torch of Your presence in this land, community!
- We thank You Lord that you will restore to us the desolate heritages on this land, all across this continent as it all belongs to Jesus Christ the Creator of heaven and earth.
- Thus says the Lord: “In an acceptable time I have heard You, And in the day of salvation I have helped You; I will preserve You and give You As a covenant to the people, To restore the earth, To cause them to inherit the desolate heritages;
9 That You may say to the prisoners, ‘Go forth,’ To those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’ “They shall feed along the roads, And their pastures shall be on all desolate heights. Isaiah 49:8-9
- We now break every weapon formed on this land that is coming against those called in Your Kingdom, through the word of God, by the blood of Jesus and power of the Holy Spirit.
- We command each weapon to return to sender now in Jesus Name.

- We come now in the Authority that You have given us with the keys of David according to Isaiah 22:22 and Matthew 18 and we now open the gates of heaven over my house and community in Jesus Name.
- We now release and loose Your purposes and Your angels on earth. Let Your Kingdom come and will be done in this community.
- Raise up other gatekeepers who will keep these gates open through faithful TPW (Thanksgiving Praise and Worship) !!!
- This community is to be filled with Your glory according to Isaiah.
Install His gates, walls and foundations
- We speak to these gates of the land and the community and we say; lift up your heads oh you gates, that the King of glory may come into this land. The Lord of hosts is the King of glory!!! Psalm 24
- Jesus King of glory we welcome You and Your hosts of angels on to this land now to cover this piece of land and community with each gate.
- Establish Your gates of praise and walls of salvation on this land and in the community.
- We now pray the apostolic prayers over our city: Galatians 4:19 My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you Ephesians 1:17–23 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
- We decree that babylon has fallen!! We now raise up Your standard of righteousness on this land.
- We shout, Grace, Grace to the mountain of babylon in our city!!!
- Father release Your warring and ministering angels assigned to the land, and this community!
- Restore and redeem every scripture on this Land now – let it speak and prophecy Your plan and Kingdom on earth.
- Ignite every scripture falsely used by the enemy, let Your Word detonate and destroy the kingdom of darkness in every single place.
- Cause these wicked schemes and cornerstones of the enemy to backfire on his kingdom.
- Set up the standard on the walls of Babylon; Make the guard strong, Set up the watchmen, Prepare the ambushes. For the Lord has both devised and done What He spoke against the inhabitants of Babylon. Jeremiah 51:12
- Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him. Proverbs 26:27
- We release Your blood-soaked truth as the very foundations of this land and community.
- We release the foundations of righteousness and justice in our community in Jesus Name.
- We now open the gates of heaven on earth and release Your Holy Spirit and the river of life on this land. That the glory of God will flow like a river.
- We release Your love, peace and joy. We release the Spirit of repentance, revival & salvation here, Your dwelling place.
- We release Your New Wine.
- Father, release and position Kingdom people on earth now!
- We see You pouring Your love through us to each person on this land.
- We see You connecting us with all the divine connections in each of 7 mountains that are connected with this land.
- We now seal the gates and walls of our community with the blood Jesus.
- We ask You to assign angels to each person that walks onto this land, so that they will be saved and delivered.
- That the angels will minister to the people to convert them to Your Kingdom mandate on this land.
- Send these angels to return with each person to their families / homes / business etc. and remined them to tell their family, friends and neighbours how wonderful You are.
- We ask that all Your Kingdom projects will spread like wildfire across the nations.
- We see Jesus taking the Lion’s share of each of the seven mountains.
“I now loose Your Kingdom, will and blood in this land and community."
- Father will You now assign angels around our community and at every gate in the community and to each person entering the community. Please open their eyes and ears to see and hear Your voice. That the angels will provide supernatural protection and guidance to all in the community.
- We see Christ manifested and revealed wherever the blood of Jesus is released through repentance.
- I see Jesus and the angels of favour going into battle ahead of us in this land and community.
- I see ourselves loving all people that come onto this land.
- We release family prayer Altars, Business Prayer Altars, Church Prayer Altars and the City Corporate Prayer Altar.
Anointing of the walls, gates, windows and doors with oil
You can now as Holy Spirit leads you anoint the land with grape juice representing the blood and oil which represents His anointing.
We recommend you start at the city gates and ask the Lord to name each gate ( entrance to the city)
You can also blow the shofar at each gate while reading Psalm 24:7 -10
We did this in Edenvale and printed a map. You too can do a map of your city for the watchmen and churches to pray over.
We have 8 physical entrances to the city and each gate has a name. The Lord also installed angels at each gate.
He told to apply the blood daily on the five different gates:
1. The gates of the city
2. The gates of business
3. The gates of households
4. The gates of hearts
5. The gates of the Church
Proclaim His Word and Vision for Your City
This is where you take the key prophetic words the Lord has spoken to the prophets concerning your community and city.
Take these and proclaim them and make war with them as the scripture says.
Just because there is a prophetic word, it does not mean that it will come to pass. We must obey, write the vision and make with war with the prophetic word.
Habakkuk 2:2–3 Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.
1 Timothy 1:18
This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare
The Lord told us His glory is coming to Town that was word for all towns and cities. His plan is revival for all towns and cities and communities.

Seed The Atmosphere Over Your City With His Word
He told us to Program the atmosphere with His word of declaration. When we speak His word over our cities and nations we are reprogramming the hearts and minds of city as we sow the words into the atmosphere above the city.
He said we must Seed the atmosphere with His word in order to bring the rain of revival and His Kingdom, just like Elijah seeded the atmosphere with God's prophetic words and prayer in 1 Kings 18 when there was a famine. It was Elijah's prophetic word and prayers that God used to create the small cloud which turned into an abundance of rain.
We get what we believe – we need to see what He is doing and proclaim what He is doing as life and death is in the power of the tongue.
First we remove the mountains then we Seed the atmosphere with His Living Word. Jesus said speak to the mountains not speak about them or pray for them.
Speak to the mountains in the city
Mark 11:22–23 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Making declarations and proclamations over your city is one of the Mighty weapons the Lord has given to you in Him; in order to bring down demonic strongholds over your city.
These strongholds are the deceptive thoughts and mindsets that the principalities and powers who rule your city have established in the hearts and minds of the people in the city; in order to keep the entire city in bondage to all forms of darkness.
The light of God in you that is released through your mouth when you make these heavenly declarations is stronger and more powerful than the darkness that holds your city in bondage.
When you speak in faith the light in you drives out the darkness over your city, just like when God spoke in the beginning and turned darkness into light by speaking light. Genesis 1:2-3 and Isaiah 60:1:3; 50:5
2 Corinthians 10:4–6 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
- We resist and cast out the mountain of the mind blinding spirit over this city that prevents unbelievers from seeing the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We command this mountain into the sea. 2 Corinthians 4:4
- We now rebuke and tear down the altar of Baal and Mammon over our city in Jesus Name. We cast this mountain of false worship into the sea.
- We command division and independent spirit in the Church to leave this city in Jesus Name.
- We command prayerlessness to leave the Church in this city in Jesus Name.
- We cast out the mountain of the Martha spirit where people are busy with many things and neglect time at the feet of Jesus.
Seed the atmosphere with His word
As we speak into the air we are seeding the air with His word which forms the clouds of revival for your city.
Isaiah 55:8–11 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
As you proclaim His words over the city you are returning His words to Him.
Once you are faithful to keep returning His word to Him then He reciprocate by making sure that those words you released back to Him will come to pass in your city.
This is how you partner with heaven!
- We declare and decree His Kingdom come and His will be done in this city as it is in Heaven!
We declare that the heavens' are open over this city in Jesus name. - We declare that the church in our city is a House of Prayer for all Nations every believer has a powerful prayer life and knows the Lord intimately.
- We declare conviction of sin and godly sorrow that produces repentance over this city in every house, building, street and place in this city.
- We declare peace over this city. We call every person to the feet of Jesus to drink of the living water and receive His grace and mercy.
- We declare and decree as the Lions Army to the hosts of hell, "YOU HAVE LOST, WE HAVE WON! YOU HAVE LOST, WE HAVE WON, YOU HAVE LOST WE HAVE WON! (See videos here and here)
- We declare that all the backsliders are coming back to Jesus. We call them out of drugs and prostitution and all forms of darkness.
- We declare that everyone in this city will be hungry for righteousness. This city is a hungry and thirsty city.
- We declare the Mary spirit over this city - believers who love to sit at the feet of Jesus.
- We declare that people are thinking about Jesus with wonderful thoughts of God. We declare this city has the mind of Christ.
- We decree that, Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, Neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; But you shall call your walls Salvation, And your gates Praise. Isaiah 60:18
- We hear and declare "the sound of the abundance of rain". We see lots of rain falling on the earth and a supernatural peace on people as they go about their everyday life. Your goodness is flooding the city!
- We see bondages and strongholds breaking off people. We declare freedom over our community. All cycles of bondage in Your children's lives are broken.
- Ezekiel 34:25–26 “I will make a covenant of peace with them, and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.
I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.
We declare that this is the season for the sons of God to arise. This is OUR Season. - We declare Isaiah 45:1–3 “Thus says the LORD to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held— To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut:
2 ‘I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.
3 I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the LORD, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.
Isaiah 45:8 “Rain down, you heavens, from above, And let the skies pour down righteousness; Let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, And let righteousness spring up together. I, the LORD, have created it. - We declare that You Lord Jesus are this cities Master builder, our Truth; our Way and Life, our Door. Jesus - Jeshua You are our Saviour, our Lord, our Bridegroom, our Lover of our soul, our King, our deliverer, our Stronghold, our One Thing, our Healer, our Bread of life, our Tree of Life, our River of Life, our Redeemer, our Sustainer, our Strong Tower and the Rock of our salvation. You are are this cities Chief cornerstone, Foundation, Wall of Salvation, Gates of praise, Mighty God and the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Praise) Who fights for our city and defeats all our enemies. You are the righteous Judge. Son of God, Lamb of God. Now You live and manifesting Your glory in our city. You are Love and light. You are Good, Gracious, Kind, Compassionate, Longsuffering, Slow to anger, Merciful, Just and Righteous. You are our justifier and justification.
- We declare a power shift over the city - from the world to the Josephs in the city.
- We declare the wealth transfer is happening in our city.
- We declare and see that all prayers come together like puzzle pieces activating a great move of God in this city and nation.
- We declare that this city loves the word of God and the Holy Spirit. They love to study their bibles.
- We declare that this city is filled with love, joy and peace.
- We declare the angels are filling the city. The hosts of heaven are here welcoming the King glory, as He enters through the gates of praise into the city.
- We declare that this city, is a city of true worship
- We proclaim - Revival! Revival! Revival! We see explosive supernatural revival all across our city. We see the evidence of revival in the city.
- We declare the spirit of mockery being defeated and true Joy being released as the angels are tying up the demons and activating true joy.
- We declare the failure of the plans of the enemy and the tearing down of the strongholds of the spirit of mockery is destroyed.
- We declare restoration in all areas over this city. Complete destruction on the plans of the enemy.
- We declare that all the lies in the city will be exposed.
- We declare that the Church will walk in their true identity as victorious sons of God, in the image of Christ.
- We declare Holy Spirit filling our community and removing the demons by His power.
- We declare that Jesus is going before us as the Lion of Praise and the Word of God filling the city.
- We declare Jesus is removing veil from the peoples eyes and ears.
- We declare the angels of God ecamp all around each family, and this city protecting us 24/7 – 365 days a year according to Psalm 91.
- We declare Jesus is touching everyone who enters the city.
- We declare Jesus talking to the people and opening their hearts and minds to His truth and love.
- We declare that we as believers are surrounded with favour as a shield. Wherever we go and whoever we speak to we have divine favour!!
- We declare Jesus igniting the people with His fire as they come into the city.
- We declare that His disciples are growing from glory to glory as they follow Jesus daily.
- We declare His light growing like an ever-increasing circle growing bigger & bigger – more and more of this community as You do exceedingly above what we can ask, think and imagine.
- We declare this city, as a city of glory, fire and revival – Your fire will abide in my houses and community. This city is a gathering place.
Now Time for TPW! Thanksgiving - Praise - Worship
We now need to build an altar of worship through consistent daily TPW.
He told consistent TPW releases consistent breakthrough.
