Spiritual Warfare Prayers and Strategies that will enable you to Win. To take ground and keep it!

We need Gods Blue Print for the Battle ahead. So far, much of our spiritual warfare prayers have not really brought us any closer to truly breaking through.

We have put in great expense and effort, yet we still haven’t seen the victories the Lord has promised. The Lord has not and will never lose a battle.

How come, we are losing so much ground in the church and our nations?

A definition of insanity is to keep repeating the things that we did in the past, while we expect different results. Let us learn how to fight and to win.

In this series of teachings we look at: ​Where it all began and how the enemy fights us.

The four essentials of effective spiritual warfare:

4. Review and strengthen your position.

 In these teachings we will look at spiritual warfare strongholds and the Lords way of dealing with them. This first teaching in this series looks at where it all began and spiritual warfare scriptures.

The War Began in Heaven

We are in a spiritual war. The war started before we were born and we were all born behind enemy lines.

The battle started in heaven with lucifer trying to overthrow God in heaven as He wanted the worship and the glory that God was getting lucifer was leading worship in heaven.

The battle started in heaven and was all over in a flash.

Lucifer who became satan which means adversary was cast down with a third of the angels to earth.

Then God created man and put us on the same planet as satan and the fallen angels.

Have you ever wondered why would God put us on the same planet as the devil? Why not make a new planet ?

To test us to give us a choice – to choose between good and evil. So no human or angel can ever say we never had freedom of choice to serve God or the devil. 

We have a choice to choose between life and death

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live” Deuteronomy 30:19

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

Worship is a choice – we are not forced to do it.

The last battle will be all about worship as this is what the first battle was all about. The nations rage against God as they want the credit and the glory, they hate giving God the glory.

Only those who give Him all the glory will overcome in the end.

We need to learn how to take ground and keep it!!!

How does the enemy fight us?

Satan’s primary weapons is deception. This weapon is developed in the heart and released through the mouth. His other weapons are sin and accusation and condemnation where he accuses us before Gods throne night and day. There is continual court case going on.

And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

Revelation 12:7-12

Gods primary weapon for us is truth the WORD of God. This weapon is developed in the heart and released through the mouth. The other weapons of God are love, the blood of Jesus, forgiveness, intercession, TPW.

 1 John 3:7-8

Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

When Jesus died on the cross he defeated satan and all the host of hell.

having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. Col 2:14

Annulling the pact with hell

So how does he fight now even though he is defeated?

How come Christians suffer so much defeat in their lives if the devil was defeated?

I see a pact, a signed scroll written by the enemy.

A pact of destruction.

He is proudly holding it out as evidence against us. Seems he is seated on a place in 2nd heaven where he rules and his plans are proclaimed. He thinks this is the highest seat of influence.

And I remembered we are seated with Christ in heavenly places and from that place our voice is heard louder and our proclamations will carry the seed that will come forth as we speak it. The words leaving our mouth will bear fruit as they come out and we believe.

Pact is defined as;

an agreement, covenant, or compact or treaty between two or more nations:

It’s a pact of destruction, separation and death. 

This pact is destroyed by unity, love and the power of the cross only these will be able to annul any pact made with hell.

Annul is defined as;

to make void or null; abolish; cancel; invalidate; to reduce to nothing; obliterate.

So how does this pact work?

From the time you are conceived the enemy assigns demons to track you and your family. They track you as they have an assignment to steal, kill and destroy.

They have been doing this from the fall of Adam. They come to kill, steal and destroy as they are jealous of you and hate god and want to hurt god by hurting you.

They are trained killers. Like a pack of spiritual hyenas they track you down and at every chance they will bite and devour you. They always go for the weak. They are blood thirsty cowards who get pleasure in your suffering and death.

God also sends angels to guard and protect you in this battle. Day by day these demons learn your weaknesses and write every sin down on a list. This list they use in the court case against you to try and prevent God from blessing you.

They also have a pact they want you to sign. Each time you agree with the devils words over your life you sign the pact.

The devil tells you his lies all through your life.

He uses your teachers, parents, family and even friends to tell you that you are a failure and will never amount to much.

You agree and you sign his pact.

This pact is consists of hundreds of clauses over the course of one’s life. It is all based on the lies of the devil which we have agreed with.

We now start speaking it over our lives giving the devil access to every part of our lives through our agreement and words of death.

The reason the devil has so much power in the church even through satan has been defeated is because we have given him the power through our agreement, which is when we sign each new clause to the pact we have with hell.

Winning the court case

Know the Lord and His word. Know the truth personally as it will uncover all clauses in your pact. You then destroy it through repentance and His blood. This is done in His court room in heaven. 

Find the pact over your life and annul it in the courts of heaven.

When we are brought before the Judge and accused by the accuser who accuses us day and night before God’s throne. We need to know how to win the case.

When the devil accuses you – how do you plead?

Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.

Matthew 5:23-26

Just say, “I am guilty”

Only when you plead guilty and confess your specific sin does your advocate Jesus step forward and plead His blood on your behalf – presenting the evidence of His cross and that all your sins were paid for.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.  1 John 1:9-10

Now all the evidence of satan against you is removed from the court room and you are freed from the accusation.

Now you win your case and satan has no right to accuse you or bring any actions against you.

Our job with His Spirit is to find the list of sins and the all the clauses in this Pact we have signed with the devil.

Clause by clause we need to annul this pact so the devil loses his grip on our lives in all areas.

Now we can agree with His New covenant sealed in His blood and sign the new agreement through our heart and mouth.

Remember we give the enemy power forever us when we agree with him. The more we agree with him the more power he has in our lives.
